Four days through Sri Lanka's ancient capitals and ruins

OVERVIEW

A deep pass through Sri Lanka's ancient heartland — Sigiriya's rock fortress, the vast ruins of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, and Kandy's Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in one unhurried circuit, with a private driver throughout.

Kandy's most significant pilgrimage site, closing out the circuit.

  • Comfortable, sturdy shoes matter for this trip more than most — several sites involve uneven ancient stonework
